SAVOY BAUR EN VILLE, Zurich – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had beautifully appointed albeit slightly small rooms but definitely not prison-like cells. They were the cleanest I have ever seen in my life. The service was amazing, despite some deceitful attempts regarding room category and the final bill. The staff was outstanding in helping us with transportation and reservation requirements. The location is very central and within walking distance to both businesses, banks, and the shopping district Bahnhoffstrasse, making it extremely convenient. The dining experience was very poor, specifically compared to other local 5-star hotels. The buffet was not up to standards, and some dishes were disappointing. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
